Professional Development Opportunities:

University Housing Services provides professional development in a wide range of areas through our weekly Prostaff Inservice program. Both department and university staff have the opportunity to present on a variety of different topics to help staff continue to develop in their positions. There are many other opportunities for professional development on campus through Student Affairs, academic departments, and university programs.

For professional development off-campus through regional and national conferences, you are required to submit a proposal to the Associate Director for funding. Professional Development is well supported through the department and opportunities are always presenting themselves to allow our staff to represent University Housing Services both on-campus and nationally.
