This community is open to all students who follow the policies below.

If accepted into the Wellness TLLC you will be able to select a room on your web date depending on availability.  Please visit the following for more information on our room selection process.

How to live on the Wellness Lifestyle Floor

Students who wish to live on the Wellness TLLC must complete the Wellness Application. Acceptance to the community is based on individual responses to the questions on the application.

  • career programs
  • wellness-oriented programs

Learning Outcomes

  • Students in the Wellness Community will find growth in at least two dimensions of wellness by the end of the year.
  • Students will have a greater understanding of the wellness concept and the resources available to them on campus.
  • Students will identify one area they are struggling in for wellness and they will have a better understanding of why.
  • Students will feel they have a personal connection with the faculty mentor for the community.
  • Students will be able to make a connection with the greater community by connecting Wellness and Service Learning.

Policy

  1. Residents must participate in at least two wellness programs each semester, targeting at least two dimensions.
  2. Residents will be required to participate in the Illinois State University Seven Campaign

The Wellness Community is facilitated by University Housing Services for students who strive to maintain wellness in all areas of their lives. Residents in the Wellness Community are offered opportunities to explore their own wellness. These residents have a commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and are provided with a living environment in which to foster this. In order to ensure this environment, any resident who does not adhere to the policies outlined above may be removed from the Wellness Community by Residence Hall staff.
