Themed Living & Learning Communities
This Substance Free Themed Living Learning Community (TLLC) is for students committed to living substance free both on and off the floor.
Community programs and activities are geared toward this commitment to having a substance-free college experience, and include opportunities for you to interact with faculty outside the classroom, participate in floor service projects, and do lots of fun activities on weekends!
If accepted in the Substance Free TLLC, you will be able to select your room on your web date depending on availability. Please visit the following for more information on our room selection process.
Overall, the Substance Free TLLC provides you with the opportunity for academic support, career exploration, and integrated substance-free social experiences.
Students who wish to live in the Substance Free TLLC must complete the Substance Free Application. Acceptance to the community is based on individual responses to the questions on the application.
The Substance-Free Community is facilitated by University Housing Services at the request of students who are committed to having a substance-free college experience. This commitment, and the support University Housing Services is providing for students who want to live a substance-free lifestyle is taken very seriously. If an individual does not keep this commitment, Residence Hall staff members will seek to bring about a resolution which will serve to maintain the integrity of the community lifestyle which could result in Administrative removal from the Substance-free Community.
