Service Area Positions. University Housing Services offers many job opportunities for students in our service areas, many even in the same residence hall where you live!

Although college can be expensive, there are many opportunities to earn money while living in the residence halls.

Most of the positions pay a starting wage of $7.50 per hour. Night operations positions pay $8.50 per hour.

If you are interested in any of the following positions, fill out an application today.

  • Front Desks - Attendants at the front desk are responsible for distributing tag keys, mail and packages. They must have great communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Fitness Center - Attendants are responsible for checking student IDs, cleaning off equipment, and monitoring the area while students exercise.
  • Recycling - Attendants are responsible for picking up recyclable items from each of the floors and depositing them in one of our recycle areas.
  • Night Operations - Night Operation attendants are responsible for monitoring the residence halls from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. Their responsibilities include conducting rounds of the area (i.e. ensuring doors are locked etc.), checking students' keys and IDs, and registering guests.
  • Learning Resource Center - Attendants monitor a quiet study space for students living in Watterson Towers.
